How can we help you?

• Conduct accredited LVD testing per PN-EN 60335 required for CE marking of your refrigeration equipment
• Obtain a report on dielectric strength, insulation resistance and leakage current within 3–7 days
• Leverage PCA AB 308 laboratory expertise in testing heat pumps, air conditioners and dehumidifiers
• Reduce prototype time-to-market with express slots available by prior arrangement
• Receive complete technical documentation ready for CE declaration of conformity submission

Electrical Safety Testing Scope (LVD)

COCH performs the complete range of electrical safety tests in accordance with:

• PN-EN 60335-1 – general requirements for electrical appliances
• PN-EN 60335-2-24 – refrigerators, freezers and ice-makers
• PN-EN 60335-2-40 – heat pumps, air conditioners and dehumidifiers
• PN-EN 60335-2-89 – commercial refrigeration equipment

Measured Parameters

• Dielectric strength (test voltage 1000–4000 V)
• Insulation resistance [MΩ]
• Protective conductor continuity PE [mΩ]
• Leakage current (touch, PE, mains) [mA]
• Temperature measurements under normal and fault conditions (short circuit simulation)
• Moisture resistance and surge voltage tests

Testing Procedure

1. 1Preliminary review of product technical documentation
2. 2Electrical testing at COCH measurement bench
3. 3Test report preparation (protocol per EN 60335)
4. 4Issuance of report for CE declaration of conformity

Turnaround Times

Standard: 3–7 business days. Express slots available for prototypes and urgent orders by prior arrangement.
