Method 912, known as flame hard brazing, is a key joining technique for copper piping in refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump systems. Durability, high tightness, and resistance to vibrations and high pressures make this skill absolutely mandatory for any professional installer and service technician.
Stationary training at COCH Krakow is aimed at individuals wishing to learn correct flame brazing from scratch, as well as experienced technicians seeking to renew or acquire credentials compliant with European standards. The course syllabus combines solid engineering knowledge, health and safety rules in welding, and advanced workshop exercises using oxy-acetylene, oxy-propane, and innovative oxy-hydrogen torches.
A gas brazier certificate compliant with PN-EN ISO 13585 is crucial for meeting the requirements of the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. Participation in our training guarantees the acquisition of qualifications respected in all EU countries, opening the door to executing responsible and lucrative installation contracts.

The course prepares participants to take the qualification exam according to the PN-EN ISO 13585 standard (formerly PN-EN 13133) before the COCH or Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) examination board. A successfully passed exam results in the issuance of a Gas Hard Brazier Certificate (method 912), which is a legally required document authorizing the assembly of pressure equipment according to the PED 2014/68/UE.
