OiB conformity assessment for defence products

Authorised by Decision of the Minister of National Defence No. 12/WCNJiK of 3 April 2026 — OiB accreditation No. 70/MON/2026 (Edition 1).

The Product Certification Department (Dział Certyfikacji Wyrobów — DCW) of Centralny Ośrodek Chłodnictwa „COCH” in Kraków holds OiB accreditation No. 70/MON/2026 granted by the Minister of National Defence. This enables COCH to conduct third-party conformity assessment of defence products in accordance with Polish defence standards and to issue certificates required for procurement by Polish Armed Forces and allied defence organisations.

Assessment is performed as third-party product conformity assessment (types 1b and 5) under programme PR-06.1, against standard NO-06-A107:2021 and procedure PB-TD edition 2 of 19.05.2025. The scope covers product groups 6, 7, 11, 16 and 17 (vehicles, CBRN, electronics, communications). On the same site, the accredited laboratory LUCh (AB 308 / OiB 69/MON/2026) performs the environmental tests that feed into certification.

Statutory requirement: Products intended for defence and state security must undergo conformity assessment by an accredited OiB body before supply to the Armed Forces. A valid OiB certificate is legally required.
