Accredited testing of land, sea and rail refrigerated containers in compliance with the ATP Agreement and ISO 1496-2.
AB 308
ILAC MRAIn an era of global logistics and rising requirements for temperature-sensitive goods, COCH Kraków — as the only unit in Poland — offers a full scope of accredited isothermal container testing. That foundation supports safe transport of food, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
COCH Kraków is the only laboratory in Poland with full PCA AB 308 accreditation scope for sea, rail and road containers, combined with ILAC MRA recognition. Test reports are recognised across the ILAC zone — more than 100 countries.
We test new containers placed on the market and units undergoing periodic inspection (typically every 3 years under ATP), as well as equipment for pharmaceutical transport under GDP. The laboratory operates under ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Our tests confirm the ability of your equipment to maintain a rigorous microclimate anywhere in the world, regardless of external conditions.

The widest accreditation scope in Poland — road, rail, sea and air transport.

We carry out accredited testing of thermally insulated transport equipment under the ATP Agreement and under PN-EN 17066-1 and PN-ISO 1496-2 — including refrigeration and heating units.
Determined by precisely heating the container interior and measuring energy losses through the walls — the basis for ATP and ISO insulation classes.
Calorimetric chamber method to determine real cooling or heating capacity and ATP functional classes A–F.
Pressure-method measurements to detect even microscopic leaks in insulation or the refrigeration installation.
Verification of geometric dimensions and temperature distribution inside the cargo space (incl. GDP/DPD needs).
Containers, trucks, trailers, tankers, vans, wagons, land containers, small containers and insulated packaging — with or without independent temperature control, plus refrigeration/heating units.
ISO Series 1 isothermal containers for intermodal sea, rail and road cargo, including units with refrigeration or heating appliances.
Testing of equipment used to distribute human and veterinary medicinal products — critical ranges such as 2–8 °C or 15–25 °C per PKN-DIN SPEC 91323 / GDP.
ATP Agreement, PN-EN 17066-1, PN-ISO 1496-2 and PKN-DIN SPEC 91323:2019-08 — recognised by control bodies, shipowners and rail carriers.
From installation in the chamber to the accredited report and certificate.
