Two new services essential for correct operation of refrigeration equipment. Learn more about refrigerant analysis and leak detection analysis.

Refrigerant composition and quality analysis and leak analysis

now available at COCH!

Confirming that the refrigerant has the correct composition before service or use ensures efficient operation of all refrigeration systems while protecting both the customer and the technician. Using a refrigerant analyser is essential to be sure of refrigerant quality and is part of diagnostics enabling quick estimation of the cause of faulty equipment operation. We perform refrigerant analyses using the Legend HFC device – one of the most advanced refrigerant analysers on the market. Analysed refrigerants: R22, R32, R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A, hydrocarbons (HC) and air; identified refrigerants: R12, R1234yf, R408A, R409A, R417A, R421A, R421B, R422A, R422B, R422C, R427A, hydrocarbons. The second service is assessment of leaks in refrigeration installations and equipment, helping to quickly locate the leak and the degree of system leakage. To book analyses, please contact staff of the COCH Refrigeration Equipment Laboratory.
