Training for forklift trucks with mechanical lifting drive is aimed at individuals who wish to obtain qualifications for work in warehouses, logistics centers, production halls, transport companies, and other environments requiring forklift operation. Our course at COCH Kraków combines a thorough theoretical lecture with intensive practical workshops, providing complete substantive and practical preparation for passing the exam before the examination board appointed by the President of UDT (Office of Technical Inspection).
Forklifts are one of the most critical components of modern internal transport, warehouse operations, and logistics. Correct and safe maneuvering of a forklift requires proper technical preparation and a sound understanding of OHS regulations. The curriculum at COCH Kraków covers a comprehensive overview of machine construction and operation, load capacity charts, and detailed operator duties before, during, and after work.
The training is dedicated to individuals who wish to obtain qualifications to operate forklifts without a boom and forklifts where the operator is not lifted with the load (such as counterbalance, reach, and pedestrian forklifts). Successful completion of the course and passing the state exam enables legal employment in many key sectors of the economy domestically and abroad.

Legal employment as a forklift operator requires meeting formal and health criteria, as well as passing a state examination of knowledge and skills:
A candidate must pass occupational medicine health checks and psychotechnical tests, ruling out any health contraindications for operating mechanical equipment.
Passing a two-part exam (theoretical test and driving test with a load) is the sole basis for obtaining a state qualification certificate valid nationwide.

The exam before the board appointed by the President of the Office of Technical Inspection consists of two stages.
The qualification check is conducted directly at the COCH Kraków center by appointed UDT inspectors. The exam is taken on a scheduled date after completing the training.
UDT Qualification Card - legal basis
A qualification certificate for operating devices subject to technical inspection is issued by the Office of Technical Supervision (UDT) in Poland. It confirms competence under strict safety and environmental standards in the European Union, valid for 10 years with simple extension options.
A 30-minute written multiple-choice test. It contains questions checking knowledge of technical inspection regulations, safe operation, OHS, and load capacity charts.
Practical verification of skills before a UDT inspector. It includes performing a pre-operational check (OTC) and correctly driving a specified obstacle course with a load (pallet).
Upon successfully passing both parts of the exam, the Office of Technical Inspection issues a state qualification certificate in the form of a plastic card, valid for 10 years.
